Graduates interested in teaching high school economics may be required by their licensing state to pass the PRAXIS Economics (0910) test, a two-hour exam that contains 100 questions concerning major economic theories, principles, and ideas. The PRAXIS II Economics exam contains four sections, two in microeconomics and two in macroeconomics. The microeconomics sections contain roughly 55 questions total. The macroeconomics sections contain approximately 45 questions.
